Education & Experience

I am a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist-C, a current PHD candidate and I possess two master degrees from Liberty University with one
in Human Service Counseling, Addictions & Recovery and also a masters in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling.

I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Licensed Mental
Health Counselor Associate, (LMHCA) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor-Intern (CCS-I) with
the NCSAPPB.

I am also a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator for couples and marriage assessments
and therapy. I have a bachelors of science degree in Health Promotions from Appalachian State University. I have been working in the counseling profession since 2009 and have 14 years of experience working with various populations.

Therapy Approaches

I specialize in implementing different forms of evidenced based treatment or psychotherapy
(various forms of therapy to meet current needs) to help individuals initiate recovery in addiction and learn different ways to cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression, P.T.S.D and various other presenting problems that may be hindering a person’s level of functioning. I believe in holistic care, focusing on 7 dimensions of wellness and The Psycho-Social Development theory and helping others understand factors that influence thoughts, behaviors and functioning I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy to people of all ages and for most problems in life, including depression, anxiety, addiction and relationship difficulties. My mission is to deliver the highest-quality, culturally-sensitive counseling services in a client-friendly manner.
