Meet Jon

Hi, I’m Jon Baldwin. Are you feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Are your relationships strained, or are you navigating anxiety, stress, or a major life transition? You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I work with individuals, couples, and families to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll identify the patterns shaping your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and build practical tools to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and balance.

Experience & Education

I have experience providing therapy across private practice, community mental health, and school-based settings. I currently practice with Charlotte Counseling Associates and have served as Director of Family Counseling at a private school, supporting students, families, and staff through counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional development.

I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wingate University.

In addition to clinical work, I provide supervision to interns and associate therapists, supporting their growth in clinical skill, ethical practice, and case conceptualization.

I can also provide faith-based counseling upon request, integrating spiritual perspectives into the therapeutic process when it aligns with your values and goals.

Therapy Approaches

My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs. I draw from:

  • Strategic Family Therapy
  • Bowen Family Systems Theory
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy

This means we focus on both understanding patterns (“why”) and creating practical change (“how”) balancing insight with action.

I believe growth happens through awareness, intentional effort, and supportive relationships. If you’re ready to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with purpose, I’d be glad to work with you. Send Message
